Plug and Play

While elsewhere the end of stationary retail is still being conjured up, innovative retailers and brands are celebrating great experiences on a large area. As in Paris, for example: in the middle of the large department store Le Bon Marché, Scott Oster and MANA designed the cylindrical cavity “Le Cube”, which is a perfect interface between sports and sculpture art. The “unbranded” installation floating in the open inner courtyard of the department store offers skaters the opportunity to perform their stunts under the observation of the public and in the dynamic atmosphere of the department store. True to the motto: when the store becomes a playground, shopping becomes an event.
